Vidal is a JLUSA Community Organizer. He was raised by a single mother of three. When Vidal was 16 years old, he was tried as an adult. Although released before he turned 18, Vidal was again incarcerated when he turned 19 years old and spent five upstate. After coming home, he worked for Snowday, New York City’s first farm-to-truck food truck. Drive Change/Snowday is a nonprofit that hires young people who have just been released from adult prisons. Vidal also started his own organization with friends called “NYCUnity.” It is an organization that attacks social justice and criminal justice reform issues. He has organized Black Lives Matter and anti-sex trafficking protests and conducted fundraisers for the homeless.
