After spending a decade in the education sector, specifically with underserved student populations, Aminah is a firm believer that all people deserve equal access to a quality education and to the necessary resources and tools that support self-determination. Aminah brings to JLUSA her commitment to social justice and equity for all communities.
As the Co-Director of Development and in partnership with the Director of Development, Aminah is responsible for managing JLUSA’s fundraising and donor relations. She brings a decade of fundraising and development experience to JLUSA. Prior to joining JLUSA, she worked as a fundraising professional in the education sector, including private, Catholic, and charter schools. She has also served as a pro bono non-profit consultant, helping NYC nonprofits develop partnership and outreach strategies. Aminah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Williams College, and a Master in Business Administration from Yale School of Management.
