A multimedia strategist, Alexander Bryden works to amplify JLUSA’s mission and values as the Communications Coordinator across all campaigns and working nationally to raise JLUSA’s profile. An expert in the power of storytelling, Alexander writes for JLUSA on issues intersecting with the criminal punishment system and launched JLUSA’s ONWARD blog as well as produced various videos and visual narratives. Previously, he worked as a communications and policy advisor at the Center for New York City Affairs and in U.S. Senator Cory Booker’s mayoral administration in Newark, NJ, as well as on his senate campaign. Previous to working on Senator Booker’s campaign, Alexander managed his own business, producing video, graphic design, and photography projects for nonprofit organizations in Newark, New Jersey. Alexander earned a BA in Political Science from Rutgers University and an MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School in New York City.
